   Do I need a constant Internet connection to use Vapour?

For the most part, yes, you will be required to have a constant Internet connection on your mobile device when using most task and activity features of Vapour. We do offer "offline scanning mode" in our [Maturation Module](https://vapour.scot/modules/maturation-module) to allow you to scan casks into locations where you have no or limited connectivity.

Tablets and PCs performing process data entry in the [Production Module](https://vapour.scot/modules/production-module), or records management in the [Bottling Add-On](https://vapour.scot/modules/bottling-add-on) also require you to be Internet-connected.

If you have issues with wireless coverage in your facilities, [contact us,](/contact) and we can put you in touch with specialist partners who can advise on Internet connectivity, even in remote locations with little or no traditional Internet coverage.

 

 

  Does Vapour produce Compliance Reports for customs and excise submissions?

Yes, Vapour has a set of specific reports to allow you to submit your production and bonded warehouse inventory reports to your customs and excise authorities.

The format of these reports aligns directly with the UK's HMRC W21 and W1 report formats. We can also generate reports in custom formats to suit your regional requirements.

  Does the Bottling Module allow us to perform first party and third party bottling?

Yes, in fact, we designed the module working directly with a client who has this exact use case. We've built in flexibility for you to perform your operations on site, but we also allow you to ship your liquid to external third parties to perform your bottling. You still have full control over liquid dispatch, dry goods inventory management and reconsiliation of liquid and dry goods back into stock after your Finished Product has been bottled and cased.

You can even receipt unused dry goods back into your inventory and your finished goods back into your inventory for sales management.

 

 

  We have issues with losing track of dry goods stock. Can your Bottling Module help us with this?

Yes, you can use Vapour to intake, track the use of dry goods during work orders, and perform stock-taking of all your dry goods. You can manage inventory levels, unit costs and the location of your inventory items.
